The Nu Alpha chapter of Chi Omega at Stanford University is home to authentic, passionate, and fun-loving women who balance achievement and scholarship with a packed social calendar. Stanford Chi Omegas lead in organizations across campus, from athletics and performing arts to pre-professional organizations and ASSU. We are a diverse group of sisters who rally to support one another in all that we do. As Chi Omegas, we are women with purpose and we are sisters on purpose. Whether we are cheering for a sister at her sports game, referring her for internships, or talking through tough times, Chi Omegas are here for one another. Though we may travel the world and lead other organizations on campus, we find our home in Chi Omega. We hope you will too.
SIX FOUNDING PURPOSES.
A strong, inclusive sisterhood is the most important aspect of Chi Omega. We strengthen our friendships through weekly sisterhood events, external events with fraternities, and chapter-wide philanthropic engagements.
Participation in campus activities:
Chi Omegas lead organizations across campus, from athletics and the performing arts to pre-professional organizations and community service!
High standards of personnel:
Chi Omega expects sisters to act with integrity—"to work earnestly, to speak kindly, to act sincerely, to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand."
Chi Omegas give back to the community through our national partnership with the Make-a-Wish foundation. Many sisters are also involved in community service, from mentoring girls to leading our ASSU.
Sincere learning and credible scholarship:
Chi Omega supports sisters in their academic endeavors, offering numerous scholarships and study support. At the start of every quarter, members of our chapter form study groups with sisters in the same classes!
Chi Omegas are driven and supportive, offering career advice and referring sisters for jobs and internships. We stay connected with our alumni and always enjoy our annual Alumnae Tea Party!
